Grace’s filmmaking career began in production. Notably, she produced Adele, which was awarded Best Live Action Short at Sydney Film Festival in 2017, amongst many other accolades. Following this success, she set her sights on directing. Quickly recognised for her unique visual style, Grace directed her first national TVC in 2020. The same year, her feminist fashion film Brutal was selected for the Melbourne Fashion Film Awards and received widespread press.

Grace went on to attend the prestigious Australian Film Television and Radio School, and has has since directed several projects, including Contrition, which premiered as part of Sydney Underground Film Festival’s Homebaked Shorts program, as well as a number of comedy web series in collaboration with Sydney showrunner Nikki Brown.

Grace has since returned to Queensland, and now enjoys the flexibility of working as a local director in both states. Most recently, Grace was awarded Screen Queensland funding to direct a dark comedy series, Run Club, which will premiere in 2025.

As a female filmmaker living with disability and the proud daughter of a Hungarian refugee, Grace is a fierce advocate for diverse and inclusive media representation and looks forward to contributing to the industry’s changing landscape.
